Grape Seeds- Proanthocyanidins

Vitis vinifera (common grape) is used in the Mediterranean and central Europe for the production of wine and juice. Pharmeko collects the seeds and supplies them to the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industry, where their proanthocyanidins are isolated. Proanthocyanidins are used as a UV-protectant and for their anti-oxidant properties.
